Lateral response of a monopile in sand
The program predicts the load-displacement and moment-rotation response of a monopile (with L/D < 5) subjected to an eccentric lateral load. The methodology follows that outlined in:

- Sand or sandy soils — the average Ic over the embedded length must be below 2.2. The program rejects clay or silty profiles automatically.
- Short piles with L/D less than 5. For higher aspect ratios, the program issues a warning as the assumption of a short pile may be invalid.
- No load or material factors are applied. Bending stresses in the monopile section are not checked.
